“Maureen” was a suburban housewife and mother, living a busy, mildly chaotic life, with three children, a part-time job, an overworked husband, good friends and various volunteer responsibilities. She loved her children and her husband, and thought she was living a pretty good life. However, feelings of failure started to insidiously creep in. She began to believe that she was a disappointment to her husband, and old feelings of self-doubt reared their ugly heads.
Currently Elizabeth, along with Myrna Kootenay, is offering Grief and Loss support groups for Stoney Nakoda First Nations. As well she is the director of the new Cochrane Wellness Connection located in Cochrane, Alberta.
